Christoph Wulf
Christoph Wulf is Professor of Anthropology and Philosophy of Education at the Freie Universität Berlin. He is member of the Interdisciplinary Centre of Historical Anthropology, member of the International Research Training Group "InterArt", of the Collaborative Research Center "Performing Cultures"; professor honoris causa, University of Bucharest; Vice-Chairman of the Society for Historical Anthropology; founder of the commission on Educational Anthropology in the German Society for Educational Science; Vice-President of the German Commission for UNESCO.
Professor Wulf serves as an editor and is a member of the editorial and advisory boards for many national and international periodicals. He was invited as visiting scholar and as guest professor in many parts of the world, including: Stanford University, Tokyo University, Kyoto; Beijing, Mysore, Delhi, Paris (Diderot, Nanterre, Vincennes-Saint-Denis, Institut de France, Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales), Lille, Strasbourg, Modena, Amsterdam, Stockholm University, Copenhagen, University of London, and Saint Petersburg, Kazan. He is author, co-author and editor of more than 100 books and special journal issues, which have been translated into 50 languages among which Chinese and Arabic.
