From its 2025 call for proposals, the University of Strasbourg Institute for Advanced Study (USIAS) has selected 15 Fellows:

Their 12 Fellowship projects, spread evenly over the natural sciences, the life sciences and the social sciences and humanities, cover a range of exciting topics including quantum computing, functional porous polymers, genetic modifiers in development disorders, the demographic history of Russia, Yezidism in diaspora, and the nature of personhood. Fellows from elsewhere in France, from Japan, Russia, and the United States will come to spend time in Strasbourg and will be welcomed by a co-Fellow or host within one of the university’s research units to facilitate their integration into the vibrant academic community. The Fellows already based in Strasbourg will have the opportunity to develop their research in truly new directions with innovative and original ideas and methods.

The Fellowship programme is open to researchers from all domains and countries. This latest call brings the number of Fellows supported since 2012 to the grand total of 245.
