Université de Strasbourg

Symposium: Chirality, chemistry and supramolecular catalysis

From September 2, 2017 until October 3, 2017
From 13:30 until 12:30

Chirality plays a key role in molecular recognition phenomena and is an important field of study for chemists and physicists. The aim of this symposium is to bring together experts in the field who will present their latest results on chirality and chemistry: enantioselective catalysis, molecular recognition, materials with chiroptic properties, etc.

The two half-days will be organized around 12 oral presentations by researchers, post-doctoral students or doctoral students, as well as three plenary lectures by world-renowned researchers (Dr. Reiko Oda, CNRS Bordeaux, Professor Lutz Gade, University of Heidelberg and Professor Michinori Suginome, Kyoto University). A poster session around an aperitif is also scheduled during the symposium.

This symposium is co-organized by Stéphane Bellemin and Matteo Mauro, USIAS Fellows 2013. For more information, please contact stephane.bellemin[at]ipcms.unistra.fr.
