Annual Symposium 2017 - Immunotherapy: New developments in the battle against cancer
November 24, 2017
From 14:00 until 17:00
Amphithéâtre Cavaillès, Le Patio, 22 rue René Descartes, Strasbourg
This year's symposium will present two of the leading pioneers in the field of cancer immunotherapy, who have fundamentally changed the way cancer and its treatment are perceived: Professor Wolf-Hervé Fridman (Cordeliers Research Centre, University of Paris Descartes) and Professor Alberto Mantovani (Humanitas University, Milan).
The theme and the keynote speakers will be introduced by Professor Jules Hoffman, who holds the Chair of Immunology at USIAS, and was awarded the 2011 Nobel Prize for Medicine for his work on innate immunology. The discussion will focus on the next steps in cancer immunotherapy.
