The scope of the mini-symposium will be to showcase selected and most recent examples of molecular chiral materials for circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) and their application in circularly polarized optoelectronic devices. In addition, state-of-the-art spectroscopical techniques involving chiral light-matter interactions will be also presented. For the occasion, three world-renowned experts in the field will deliver a talk in English:
- Dr. Olivier Maury (ENS Lyon & CNRS, France) - Unsual application of lanthanide circularly polarized luminescence
- Professor Lorenzo Di Bari (Università degli Studi di Pisa, Italie) - Materials and methods for playing with circularly polarized light in devices (Binational French-Italian prize of the SCF 2023)
- Dr. Cyriaque Genet (ISIS, Université de Strasbourg & CNRS, France) - Frenkel excitons for enhanced CPL emission
USIAS is one of the sponsors of this open access and free event, which will be held at the Institute of Supramolecular Science and Engineering (ISIS) on the central campus of the University of Strasbourg.
