SNAAS - Social Network Analysis in Animal Societies

Animals do not gather randomly. Studying the dynamics of these networks lead to a better understanding of how individual behaviours influence the structure of group as well as of population and species. SNAAS aims to show that the analysis of social networks can lead to advancements in studying behaviours of animals. The objective is to open new perspectives in the study of animal societies.

This workshop takes place in Strasbourg on 3-4 July 2013 as part of the USIAS project Social networks as a trade-off between optimal decision-making, information transmission and reduced disease transmission, organised by Cédric Sueur (USIAS Fellow 2012).
