The perception of music, from psychology to neurosciences and genetics
Why does listening to music improves your memory and learning ability? Why are some people unable to perceive musicality? What do we know about the genetics of perception in general, and how can we perhaps begin to unravel the genetic base of musical perception? Some of the major researchers in the area will share their findings and views on these issues on 18 Monday 18 March 2013, at the colloquium 'The Perception of Music. From psychology to neuroscience and (perhaps) genetics', presenting the latest insights on the neuroscience and genetics of musical perception.
