Loïc Jierry
Loïc Jierry graduated from the University of Strasbourg where he received his Ph.D. Asymmetric Synthesis in 2003. From 2004 to 2005, he worked as a post-doc with prof. Jean-Marie Lehn at the Institut de Science et d'Ingénierie Supramoléculaires of Strasbourg before joining the ALSACHIM company (Strasbourg). In 2006, he was “Visiting Scientist” at the pharmaceutical company MENARINI (Florence, Italy). Back in France, he became associate-researcher at the Ecole Normale Supérieure of Lyon (France), before being appointed Maître de Conférences at the University of Strasbourg (ECPM) in 2009. His research activities, at the Institut Charles Sadron, include biomaterials, surface engineering and mechanoresponsive materials. He is co-author of 25 publications.
As part of his Fellowship, Loïc Jierry is working on the project New supported catalysts, in collaboration with David Edouard and Vincent Ritleng.
