Arnaud Beauville is an expert in Geometric Algebra. He received his doctorate at the Université Paris VII - Diderot under supervision Jean-Louis Verdier in 1977. He was professor at the Université d'Angers and the l'université Paris-Sud 11, and director of the mathematics department at the École normale supérieure. Currently he is emeritis professor at the Université de Nice, working in the research group of J.-A. Dieudonné.
