03 April 2020

Sylviane Muller, Chair of Therapeutic Immunology at USIAS, is one of the 12 experts who form the Committee for Analysis, Research and Expertise (CARE), established by French President Emmanuel Macron on 24 March 2020 to advise the government on coronavirus.

The objectives of the committee are "to provide rapid advice to the public authorities on how best to react to proposals for innovative scientific, technological and therapeutic approaches that are formulated by the national and foreign scientific community in response to the Covid-19 health crisis and to verify that the conditions for deployment and portage are met"; and "to solicit the scientific community to give input to the themes identified by the French Ministry of Health and Solidarity or by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation”.
