Dominik Metten

Dominik Metten received his diploma degree in physics from the University of Bonn in Germany in 2012. During his diploma thesis, he studied magnetoresistance effects on carbon nanotubes at the Jülich Research Centre. For his PhD thesis, he moved to Strasbourg where he continued to work on carbon based nanostructures. His research focused on the optoelectronic and mechanical properties of suspended graphene membranes. He developed and realized an experimental setup for spectroscopic Raman measurements. His results have been presented at international conferences and published in different scientific journals.
